FARGO - Summer is officially here, which means bicyclists will be sharing the road with drivers for the next few months. We reached out to Tom Smith of Great Northern Bicycle Co. for some tips about the rules of the road for cyclists and motorists to help you stay safe.
FARGO—No flower arrangement Kimberly Hess makes is the same. "We don't have a single pattern in the shop of any kind," said Hess, who has no formal training in making floral arrangements. "It's just based on the conversation we had on the telephone with the person or when they came in."
FARGO -- We Play in Fargo is a 10-day celebration of music culminating with a 72-hour continuous jam session.
FARGO - RibFest is one of the biggest events to kick off the summer in Fargo. Gates opened at 11 am Wednesday. This year there are seven rib cookers competing and the Forum talked with two: Lauren Vega Owner of Cowboys Barbecue and Rib Company and Dan Johnson of Johnson's Bar-B-Que. Both are veterans of RibFest.

FARGO - About 600 participants took part Tuesday, May 15 in the third annual FurGo Dog Run at the Fargodome. The course is 1.5 miles, with both dogs and their walkers receiving medals when they finish the race. The event has grown in popularity each year. All proceeds are donated to local homeless animal shelters/rescues.
FARGO - Vince Kempf's job is to get to know people from different cultures. He is the cultural liaison officer for the Fargo Police Department. Kempf said, "Building relationships is the solution, but the hard part for people is making the first step." Kempf thought it might be a good idea to learn the languages of the different cultures of the Fargo residents he encounters. Kempf decided to learn Nepali because it's a language spoken by Bhutanese people, the largest new American population in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
FARGO - "Oh My Gosh...It's a Robot" is the team name of the Kennedy LEGO League chapter, which will compete against 1,400 teams from 62 countries at FIRST LEGO League Competition in Detroit, Mich. April 25-28. The team advanced after winning the state competition in February. The team is made up of six boys, grades 4th through 6th and are 6th graders Ian Candy and Griffin Terras. 5th graders Brandon Mindemann, Asher Novak, Regean Jorgenson and 4th grader Donghwa Shin.
April is National Poetry Month and in appreciation, poet Dustin Mohagen of Fargo, reads from his chapbook "Wild Time." Mohagen said poetry is sacred and it makes him think of the Bible because of the line, 'In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God.' "You have this equation between, word and God," Mohagen said. "It's solitude yet you can still feel at one with the human race and I think that's where a lot of its power lies.
There could be a lot reasons why you might recognize Erik Block. These days it might be because he is the host and owner of Red River Trivia. Tuesday night, March 27, Block hosted the 11th Office trivia night at the Fargo Brewery Ale House.
