UND adds two junior college players to its football program
GRAND FORKS—University of North Dakota head football coach Bubba Schweigert announced two additions from the junior college level to his program Tuesday.
Quarterback Noah Grover and defensive back Sayi Onaghinor have both committed to UND and will arrive in Grand Forks this summer to begin their careers with the Fighting Hawks.
Grover prepped at Mountain Pointe High School in Phoenix, Ariz., and threw for 1,303 yards and 14 touchdowns during his senior season, despite missing five games with an injury.
In his lone season at Phoenix College a year ago, the 6-foot-2, 195-pound signal caller appeared in nine games, passing for 1,027 yards and nine touchdowns.
Onaghinor played the past two seasons at Sacramento City College where he appeared in 13 games for the Panthers. As a sophomore, the 6-foot, 180-pounder finished the season with 16 tackles and an interception.
