Gunn pitches shutout to lead Gary SouthShore past RedHawks

GARY, Ind.—Alex Gunn pitched a seven-hit shutout to lead the Gary SouthShore RailCats to a 2-0 victory against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks on Saturday in American Association baseball at U.S. Steel Yard.

Gunn struck out seven batters, walked none and allowed all singles.

Leo Pina and Maikol Gonzalez had two hits each to lead the RedHawks, who dropped to 7-7 overall. Right-handed starter Trey McNutt pitched seven solid innings for F-M, allowing one run on four hits while striking out seven and walking two.
