Force forward Meyers commits to Omaha

FARGO—Fargo Force forward Ben Meyers has committed to play college hockey at the University of Nebraska-Omaha at the end of his junior hockey career.

Meyers, from Delano, Minn., is playing in his first full USHL season with the Force after spending most of last year with Delano High School. He scored one goal in eight games with the Force at the tail end of last season. The 19-year-old has 32 points (19-13-32) in 49 games this season. Additionally, Meyers currently has a five-game goal scoring streak.

Meyers joins John Schuldt as the second member of the current Force roster to commit to Nebraska-Omaha.
