FARGO—The Lopez sisters are back together again, this time on the North Dakota State volleyball bench. Head coach Jennifer Lopez announced on Thursday, Jan. 11, that her older sister Kelly Lopez will join the staff as an assistant coach.

Kelly Lopez has been the associate director of sports performance at Boise State since 2014.

"Her leadership, values and passion for the game of volleyball and NDSU are going to be a great fit," Jennifer Lopez said in a release.

Kelly Lopez was a four-year starter for NDSU from 2005-09 and was a two-time Summit League Defensive Player of the Year. Her coaching resume includes club volleyball experience for West Fargo, Minnesota Black Ice and Oak Grove. She's been a regular on the summer volleyball camp circuit at NDSU, West Fargo, Kindred, Hawley, Oak Grove and Courts Plus.

The Lopez sisters played together at NDSU for two years.
