Trollwood says, "Hello, Dolly!"
Trollwood Performing Arts School hopes it’s made a match for the 2018 mainstage musical. The arts program announced Monday morning that it would stage a production of “Hello, Dolly!” to run July 12 through 14, 18 through 21 and 24 through 28 at Bluestem Center for the Arts in Moorhead.
The musical follows matchmaker Dolly Gallagher in 1900 New York as she tries to find a spouse for a rich man, Horace Vandergelder. A current Broadway revival won four Tony Awards earlier this year, including Best Actress for Bette Midler as Dolly.
Actors’ auditions are February 3 through 7, 2018. Orchestra auditions are February 26 through March 3. All auditions are open to students currently in grades 8 through 12. Students may also work as a crew member or technician by registering for summer programs.
Group sales open today, for purchases of 10 or more tickets on a single performance night. For individual sales, the box office opens Monday, June 4.
