FARGO – The lineup has been announced for the 23rd annual Fargo Blues Festival taking place Aug. 17 and 18 at Newman Outdoor Field, 1515 15th Ave. N.

Jimi Hendrix-inspired guitar sensation Ana Popovic headlines the first night. The Serbian-born artist is touring behind her triple album, “Trilogy,” featuring one disc of soul, funk and R&B, another focusing on blues and a third disc leaning toward jazz.

Singer/harmonica player Curtis Salgado is also featured on the bill, as are guitarist Corey Stevens, Andy T Band featuring Anson Funderburgh, Heart & Soul and T-Roy Anderson.

Grammy-nominated singer/guitarist Kenny Neal brings a New Orleans sound to Fargo, headlining the second night.

Guitarist Tinsley Ellis also plays that day, as does Carolyn Wonderland, Lamont Cranston, Lisa Wenger and The Blue Wailers.
