Rock band Yes cancels Moorhead show, tour, Todd Rundgren to still play
MOORHEAD -- Rock band Yes canceled the remainder of their tour Monday, Sept. 11, due to a family emergency. The band was scheduled to play Bluestem Amphitheater in Moorhead on Monday.
A press release announcing the cancellation stated that the cancellation follows the death of Yes guitarist Steve Howe's son, Virgil. The father and his drumming son had recently finished recording an album to be released later this year.
Todd Rundgren, who was slated to open Monday's show, will now play a headlining set.
Ticketholders attending Monday night's show can get partial refunds at the gate. Full refunds will be available at the point of purchase for those who don't attend.
