FARGO—A martial arts school in Fargo has outgrown its home.

Red River Traditional TaeKwonDo, currently located at 1335 Main Ave., plans to move to a new home at 3509 4th Ave. S., in early August.

"Always joked that I plan to be buried at our present location because it was so perfect. But we are blessed with having more students than our current space will handle," said Jim Grimestad, who operates the school.

The new location is a new building currently under construction.

Grimestad said the new spot will double available parking and provide additional dressing rooms and a play area for children while they are waiting for classes.

"When completed, it will be the largest matted training facility in North Dakota, Minnesota or South Dakota," Grimestad said.

He said the new space is necessary not only for the taekwondo school, but also to accommodate North Dakota State University's judo program.
