Inside Business: CoSchedule announces upcoming move to new Fargo office, plans to hire more employees
FARGO—A marketing calendar company will relocate its office here and hire more employees after getting $2.2 million in private investments.
CoSchedule CEO and Co-founder Garrett Moon announced Wednesday, May 17, during the weekly 1 Million Cups event in Fargo that the company will move its Fargo office into a 10,000-square-foot corner unit in the Cityscapes Plaza building, 630 1st Ave. N.
The move is expected to be completed by July 15, preceding a hiring push to add 50 more employees over the next 18 months, according to a news release. CoSchedule announced earlier this spring that it had attracted $2.2 million in private investments.
"This is probably our third or fourth office, and we've learned a lot about what type of space really works for a startup and for creative, smart people," he said at 1 Million Cups. "We're excited to do that in Fargo."
The company's current Fargo office is in the Meadowlark Building, 503 7th St. N. CoSchedule, which launched in the fall of 2013, also expanded its headquarters office in Bismarck.
Moon said the company now has more than 8,000 customers in 100 countries.
CoSchedule also announced last week that it had launched a new free online tool, Social Media Optimizer, that helps marketers evaluate and score messages for any social network before it's posted. The tool can help marketers come up with ways to create more engaging social media posts.
